Ratna Chuli has been open for mountaineering expeditions ever since the first opening of the Nar Phu region of western Nepal in 2000, there have been very few mountaineering expedition teams to this mountain. This mountain lies between the border of Nepal and Tibet in north of the Annapurna and Manaslu, majestically situated above the Tibetan village of Phu in the western region of Nepal.

This Ratna Chuli Peak is the technical peak for the Mountan climbers and it was first climbed on 1996 by Japanese expedition team and Nepaleses supported team.
